Among other types of sheets intended for the roof, it can be distinguished by the presence of a capillary cavity. Steel sheets can have only a double-sided galvanized coating and an additional protective and decorative coating. The coating has a protective and decorative function, can be polymeric or paint and varnished and has several layers. The maximum length of the profiled sheet is limited by the technological capabilities of production and is usually 12 meters. Thanks to the profile, the material easily withstands significant mechanical and snow loads. The small thickness of the sheet metal gives rise to the drum effect – an increase in sound during rain.
