The Undersecretariat of Public Order and Security is an intelligence agency. The Undersecretariat of Public Order and Security is responsible for ensuring coordination among relevant institutions and organizations for the fight against terrorism and developing policies and strategies in this regard.

Within the body of the Undersecretariat, studies for the establishment of an Intelligence Evaluation Center directly affiliated to the Undersecretariat continue for the purpose of obtaining and evaluating strategic intelligence from the relevant units, based on the policies and strategies to be formed in the field of counter-terrorism and the measures to be taken; After the related process is completed, the strategic information and intelligence to be obtained by the security organizations and intelligence units and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be evaluated in this center.
